These open studio nights will be self-directed. You must have previous experience with ceramics/pottery in order to register.
Aimee will be at each of the sessions to provide orientation & guidance as needed.
Since the studio only has one pottery wheel, a wheel sign-up sheet will be available to book wheel time. Hand-building is encouraged!
You will glaze your own pots! Glazing demonstrations can be provided.

This 7 week exploration is a comprehensive introduction to hand-building with clay!

week 1/Feb 5 - Small sculpture & Pinch pots (max 5 pieces)
week 2/Feb 12 - Coil pots (max 1 piece)
week 3/Feb 19 - Slab bowls / dishes (max 5 pieces)
week 4/Feb 26 - Slab mug (max 1 piece)
week 5/Mar 5 - Choose your own adventure! (max 3 pieces)
March 12 - GAP WEEK (no class)
Week 6/ Mar 19 - Glaze day
week 7/Mar 26 - Glaze day
