Moon In June Studio has closed - but it won't be entirely gone forever...
As of late May, 2026, Moon In June Studio's Lakeside studio location in Kenora Ontario has closed. Aimee has known for a while that new building ownership meant limited time in the studio space she had occupied since October, 2015. It was pure coincidence that the month she would be asked to vacate the space would be the same month she would be due with her first baby - June of course!
What does all of this mean for Moon In June Studio?
1 - It will mean that Aimee will be taking a break from her ceramics practice to focus on her new role as a mother
2 - It will also mean that when business resumes (date TBD), there will be a change in the services that are offered
Where will Moon In June Studio be located when the business resumes? How will the business offerings change?
Aimee has already relocated to a small home studio. Although very convenient for this new phase of Aimee's life, it will mean that in-studio private parties will sadly no longer be offered. Most other services will continue, and although they may look a little different moving forward, Aimee very much plans to be active within the community after her maternity leave. She plans to continue offering mobile ceramics workshops and parties, classes, and other services through partnerships with other businesses and organizations, as well as from her home studio.
